Calm - Rain on Pond.  Fine Art Print"From my studio in the woods, on the Niagara Escarpment, located in Ontario, Canada.  I have always loved the moment that a raindrop hits the surface of the water.  Whether it is the ever-expanding ripples that undulate from the center of the droplet.  Or, the reaction of the water, when the raindrop pierces the surface, causing a vertical splash, which disappears almost in an instant"."While listening to the euphony of raindrops as they pierce the surface of the pond, I also notice the skewed appearance of the moss and rockery just below the surface, which reveals, a rich pallet of colors across the composition.   This shot is my impression of that memory, and my attempt to save the moment".
